Tim Brauns was born in Bochum. He initially completed an apprenticeship as an orthopaedic technician and then studied industrial design at the Berlin University of Arts. Since 1997 he has led the Berlin design studio e27 together with Fax Quintus and Hendrik Gackstatter. Tim Brauns has had teaching assignments in Florence, Berlin, Vienna and Toulouse as well as guest professorships in Germany and Italy. For over 20 years the design studio e27 has developed and supported successful brands and companies with a combination of brand building and product design: “Our holistic approach encompasses all aspects of a brand or a product, and ensures intelligent and sustainable solutions.”
